Lucky Londoners can enjoy a hand-picked selection of items from celebrated French design emporium Colette this month, as part of the Cube Store’s temporary exhibition and retail space in east London’s Old Truman Brewery.
The conceptually designed area will boast a must-visit pop-up store from the Parisian connoisseurs of design, featuring an exclusive selection of Japanese-inspired lifestyle products including furniture from Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s Wajima collection and innovative glassware andextravagant lamps from Japanese designers Teruhiro Yanagihara and Mitsubai Tokyo respectively.
By night, the Cube Store will transform into an avant-garde exhibition space featuring design, art, installation, music, fashion and film events for the capital’s creative and urban mindset. Celebrating the UK launch of Nissan’s iconic Cube car, the London Cube Store is an extension of the design philosophy behind the vehicle which in the past decade has established itself as the must-have status symbol for Japan’s underground and urban set.
